Yet cryolite grinding has long been highly challenging: the material features medium hardness, high brittleness, moisture absorption, fluorine content, wall adhesion tendency and explosive dust. Traditional grinding equipment is prone to material blockage, low powder purity and severe iron contamination, accompanied by major safety hazards, making it difficult to meet the stringent explosion-proof, environmental and purity requirements of the electrolytic aluminum industry.

Unlike ordinary grinding production lines, the cryolite grinding production line is tailored to the material properties and core demands including electrolytic aluminum regeneration and lithium extraction. It adopts an integrated design of "pre-treatment, grinding, classification, purification and packaging". With full-process negative pressure sealing and nitrogen inerting protection, it ensures outstanding safety, high efficiency and environmental performance. MTW European Trapezium Mill: Perfectly Adapted

As the core model for cryolite grinding, MTW European Trapezium Mill has undergone four generations of upgrading and optimization. Custom-designed for electrolytic aluminum waste residue recycling, it operates stably in numerous large-scale projects. It accommodates hourly output of 5–30 tons and fineness ranging from 200 to 400 mesh, fully meeting the demands of pot relining residue recycling and cryolite regeneration in electrolytic aluminum plants.

Featuring a curved air duct design, combined with anti-sticking polished lining and air hammer rapping devices, it completely eliminates material blockage and mill clogging to ensure continuous and stable operation. Equipped with integrated bevel gear transmission, it delivers powerful power and saves 15–20% power compared with traditional Raymond mills. The service life of wearing parts exceeds 1000 hours, greatly reducing operation and maintenance costs. The variable-frequency cage-type powder separator enables precise and adjustable fineness with a classification efficiency of over 90%, delivering uniform particle size without secondary grinding. The grinding rollers and rings adopt wear-resistant alloy and ceramic composite materials, achieving zero iron pollution and guaranteeing finished product purity.
