Aggregate Manufacturing Process

  1. In aggregate production and manufacturing process, there are mainly four steps involved: extraction, crushing, grinding and screening.

  2. Extraction plant is applied to remove the rock or raw material from the deposit on earth.

  3. Crushing is the integral process in aggregate processing. It can be accomplished in primary, secondary and tertiary crushing process according to final product application. The popular aggregate crushing machine includes jaw crusher, impact crusher, cone crusher, mobile crusher.

  4. Grinding process is to produce fine aggregate material following crushing operation.

  5. Screening is the auxiliary and important stage in manufactured sand making application. It separates and classifies the different particle size.

Aggregate Grinding Mill Supplier

Natural aggregate is gradually replaced by crushed rock or gravel fine aggregate and manufactured sand. Fine aggregate is extensively applied in building highway, airstrips, pipelines and pavement, construction materials, and used for producing asphalt or concrete.

Fine aggregate grinding machine is newly developed equipment for producing high quality aggregate materials. It has the benefits of high production capacity, low energy cost, even and fine particle size. As a world famous aggregate grinding mill supplier, we provide ball mill, high pressure mill, ultrafine mill, vertical mill, roller mill for aggregate and manufactured sand processing.

Raw Materials for Aggregate Manufacturing

  1. Unconsolidated (loose) rock: sand, gravel, river stone and alluvial materials (dry river beds). This is "rolled" sand because the grains are rounded,

  2. Solid rock: limestone, marble, granite and hard rock or crushed volcanic rock. This is "crushed" sand because the grains are pointed,

  3. Recycled materials: often from industrial discarded materials, such as construction or demolition waste, recycled concrete, railway ballast, etc.
